Assigning points to answers

How can I change the value assigned to each answer for a particular question in iGrader, e.g. so that answers A, B, C, and D get 2 points and answer E gets 3 points?

Thanks.

Re: Assigning points to answers

I do not know how to change the score for a single question within iGrader, but it is possible to enhance the value of a single question within the classroom by asking it more than once.  If you do not use the peer review method prescribed by Eric Mazur (ask, discuss, ask again), apply it for the higher-value questions.  This gives these questions almost double-value.  If you already do this for every question, then work involve an incorrect answer.  Verbally change one aspect of the situation so as to change the correct answer.  Asking the modified question makes that situation count for more points.

In iGrader, click on the date of the session you would like to modify. You can then scroll through each question (Using the Previous and Next links) and modify the point value for the incorrect and correct responses.

If you've already set up in iClicker preferences that incorrect answers get 2 points and correct answers get 3 points, then you simply need to type the letter of the right answer in the Correct Answer box in iGrader for each question.
